Wrapped in Riesling is an exciting joint-event by online wine publication, Sip Your Style, and boutique public relations company, Fireworks PR. Creating a fun and relaxed way to enjoy some delicious Australian Rieslings, surrounded by vintage fashion stalls and some funky beats, Wrapped in Riesling is sure to hit the spot.
Spend a Friday evening shopping, bopping and sipping Riesling from some of Australia’s finest female Riesling winemakers. To help guide guests through the wines the winemakers will be on hand ready to answer questions and help explain why Riesling is the perfect summer drink.
Drawing on the feminine florals and delicate aromatics of Riesling, we wanted to showcase some of Australia’s top female winemakers and their flair, and finesse around this elegant style. A market-type atmosphere and not a stuffy wine tasting, you’ll find vintage gems for sale from the Vintage Clothing Emporium, while a DJ spins some classic tunes and food available from vendors outside Ambush. The fashions have changed over time, and so have the flavours! Come and delight in modern Australian Riesling.
Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at www.sipyourstyle.com.au or call 03 9525 3111 for enquiries.
Wineries:
Kirrihill Wines – nestled in the heart of the Clare Valley region, Kirrihill Wines will be showcasing their latest and greatest Rieslings on the night. Kirrihill Wines produce top-quality hand-crafted wines and with Riesling the favourite drop of Kirrihill Wines senior winemaker, Donna Stephens, these are the jewels in the crown for the winery.
Taylors – The Taylor family has been committed to crafting fine wine over four decades and three generations, and still has four family members actively involved in the business. This heritage and experience is evident in every drop.

Leasingham Wines – Established in 1893, Leasingham Wines has been an integral part of the Clare Valley for more than 100 years. The winery is a true pioneer of Clare Valley’s worldwide Riesling reputation and is the first producer from the region to win the coveted Jimmy Watson trophy for Classic Clare Shiraz.
Henschke Wines – Celebrating more than 140 years of winemaking heritage, Henschke is passionate about the land and environment for future generations.

Peter Lehmann Wines – In 1979 Peter Lehmann built the Peter Lehmann Wines winery and has never looked back. Even from the early days, growth was well planned, slow and steady. Peter has championed the Barossa Valley as Australia’s leading wine producing region for decades and is one of the industry’s most respected figures.
Brown Brothers – Established in 1889 in Milawa at the foothill of the Victorian Alps, Brown Brothers’ vineyard diversity has supported innovation and leadership by growing different grape varieties, producing experimental wine styles.
Dal Zotto – Each Dal Zotto wine is the blend of three elements – family, tradition and innovation – with one overarching philosophy – your origins are just as important as your future.
Frogmore Creek – One of Tasmania’s most awarded wineries, Frogmore Creek is family-owned and sources grapes from the only finest cool climate regions in Tasmania.
