Logan is a family owned and operated winery located in the NSW Central Ranges (that’s Orange and Mudgee). Logan grow grapes in the neighbouring regions of Mudgee and Orange as across the two regions they cover altitudes from 500 metres to 1,100 metres. This enables them to produce a diverse range of wines, from elegant Sparkling, Riesling and Pinot Noir to varietal and pungent Sauvignon Blanc through to rich Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, all in the climate conditions Logan Wines desire to produce elegant, yet rich wines.

Their top range of wines, the Logan label, is made purely from grapes grown in Orange. At an altitude ranging from 850 to 1,050 metres, the vineyards are some of the highest in Australia. We selected the region of Orange because we believe the region’s altitude, accompanying cool weather and rich volcanic soils are the perfect ingredients for producing premium, fruit driven table wines.

Their second tier range, Weemala is a little quirky and has attracted a cult following for its restrained, elegant and excellent value for money wines. Like all Logan wines, they are supple, fruit-driven wines and very drinkable. Among the offerings in this range they have varietals and styles for those who enjoy something just a little bit different. Like their Germanic styled Weemala Riesling, a cold climate Riesling that has a real purity with lovely mineral, orange blossom and iced tea characters.
